The RBTT Young Leaders Project of 2008 - 2009 was headed up by Mrs.
Vernita Bruce in consultation and with the support of Gros Islet
Primary School.  The establishment of an organic garden to feed the
school food program, sell produce for long term support of the garden,
and the educate the children about gardens was the goal.  It was
completed  in the alloted time.
A portfolio documenting the entire process is available for  viewing
at the office.  We thank the many sponsors for their support - without
them the garden would not have come about, for instance the Rotary
Club of Gros Islet arranged that the garden be fenced - an important
step in moving forward.
Although this project did not rank for a prize,one of our studens,
Aiasha Gustave, was asked to speak on behalf of all Young Leaders,
about the challenges and joys of the preparations.
